Katin is excited to officially announce the newest addition to the Katin Explorer team, surfer Noah Wegrich! We are so stoked to have the versatile California surfer on our roster of stellar explorers.
Noah Wegrich, 24, was born and raised along the Central California coasts of Santa Cruz, Calif. Although born hundreds of miles away from the Kanvas by Katin shop, Noah still grew up around the Katin California surf culture. Noah was born into a family of surfers, so it was only a matter of time before he made his way on top of a surfboard. Noah first learned the ways of the waves when he was just 3 years old, learning to surf from his Katin-trunk-wearing dad at famous Santa Cruz surf spot, Cowell’s Beach. Since then Noah has graced the photos of some of the world’s biggest surf magazines, starred in notable surf films and much more.
To him, being a Katin Explorer means celebrating the freedom that he loves so much about surfing, as well as “exploring unknown frontiers and being American made!” When Noah isn’t surfing at his favorite spot Manresa just south of Santa Cruz, you can find him on top of pretty much any other kind of board, from skateboarding to snowboarding. Noah also has a great passion for the arts, taking photos on his treasured film camera, studying the art of photography, as well as painting on surfboards and more.
